Half-Hour Dramedy
LOGLINE: When a dinosaur-obsessed teenager is banned by his widower father from participating in a paleontological dig, he musters the local Natural History Museum Club to plot his own course to unearth the true meaning of living, dying – and extinction.

Adolescence is a trip. But Tanner Rixton (aka T-Rix) is determined to chart a course that doesn’t see him end up as just a lifeless pile of bones.

FIELD TRIP is a family dramedy about self-discovery — and some of the grief and coping mechanisms needed along the way. Dealing with issues that include sexuality, mental health, racism, disability, poverty and growing up (even when you’re already a grown-up), the series is ultimately a story about family — the ones we’re born into and the ones we pick for ourselves, and how they can be our greatest advocates while also being our greatest rivals.
