Half-Hour Comedy
LOGLINE: An introspective yet ambitious young woman with a life-altering diagnosis navigates the healthcare system while trying to maintain her professionalism — and survive her 20s.
A character-driven comedy focusing on the challenges of a chronically direct radio show host as she negotiates 20-something dilemmas: work, friendship, love, finances, unattainable dreams, unfortunate decisions and life in Toronto. The catch? She’s doing it while trying to survive two rare brain tumours. This is as much a coming-of-age story as it is an end-of-life story; both signposts in existence that are hard to navigate.
